Happy Hula Days

Hi my friends, Happy Holidays! I had a great musical year with all my fellow musoes! Starting with Bonnie Raitt in January. We had a wonderful time as she has been my dear friend for many years as well as the rest of the band with Hutch, George and Ricky. What a beautiful musical hang we had! Thank you Bonnie and everyone that was able to come and see us.

Then it was off with Stevie Nicks and Rod Stewart for the launch Of Stevie's new CD "In Your Dreams". We pretty much toured all that spring and summer. Thank you Stevie and band for a great time had by all. I know we'll do it again soon.

We also celebrated two important Birthdays this summer and fall. In July we celebrated Tommy LiPuma's Birthday at the Montreux jazz festival in Switzerland. A star studded jazz event featuring Tommy's production alumni, George Benson, Joe Sample, Diana Krall, Dr. John, Leon Russell, Dan Hicks, Me and a host of other wonderful artists! Thank you Tommy and Happy Birthday again. What a riot!!

Then we celebrated my Mothers 90th Birthday in August. What an event that was! The Family held it at the Old Log Theater in Minnetonka MN with a Packed house and not a dry eye in the place! My Mother Jeanne was so brilliant and played piano like she was 20... My siblings aren't to bad either.. Holy buckets can they play.. God Bless you all, especially you Mom and we'll do so much more.

Needless to say, Lou Ann and I went on our annual vacation to our place in Hawaii. We love to go there and miss it when we're away. We always have a blast and rejuvenate our spirits in the short amount of time we get to go. I love you and can't wait to go back!

Then I spent most of the end of the year out with Stevie Nicks in Australia for the last month! It was wonderfully successful and I thank her and the band; Waddy, Carlos, Lenny, Darrel, Jimmy, Al, Lori and Sharon along with the crew. Love you all and can't wait to do it again!

Then I came home and hit the ground running rehearsing for our annual Peterson Christmas concert at the Dakota. But before we did the concert I went to the east coast with our/my band "The Side Guys" and did a couple of gigs with AWB alum Hamish Stewart. Wow what a whirlwind! Killer band and we had a ball! Then came home only to jump off the airplane to go right to the Dakota for two Peterson shows.... Then Family for the Holidays and I loved evey minute of it.

Now off to the studio to finish my dear friend Rockie Robbins CD, I'll keep you all posted on the future,
